Maritim Hotel Darmstadt

The service, the staff and the cleanliness are wonderful.The bar and decoration also leads to a glass and for lingering.The swimming pool is a big plus.And even if we haven't tried the sauna, everything looks modern and well -kept.The hotel's ambiance is a good mix of old, chic and modern (old solid wooden desk tables and furniture in the rooms with modern curtains, floor and bathroom, for example).The location next to the train station is perfect (and at least in the rooms towards the city, the trains are not heard).

Not really.Here are a few suggestions for improvement: there could be a kettle with tea and coffee in the room for a coffee or tea at night.The dog fee is a bit expensive.The gym is great, but the reception there is only occupied at certain times.The desk has signs of wear in terms of age.Even if this is very chick, could these cake/ restored/ restore it?

The hotel was very impressive, starting with the reception hall, I like the variety of cactus which were placed around the hall. The room size was great, the double bed gave you the feeling of importance. I used the refrigerator to cool my drinks in the room. The breakfast was also very impressive, I had an omelet, which was freshly prepared, together with bacon and pancakes. At the coffee machine it was possible to have different types of coffee. Since I was on the 10th floor of the hotel, it was quiet. Had pigeons visit me on the balcony available with the room. The stay was what I was looking for, "relaxation pure". The hotel location gave me the possibility to easily visit the movies, go to multiple restaurants, or walk to the city center.

Can´t really give any "unlikeable" feedback.

The rooms were clean and there was a pool.

We had booked the same accommodation a year ago.Since then, the quality of breakfast has dropped significantly.The selection has become lower, the quality of the food has become worse (very hard rolls, the fruit juice seems to be quite cheap quality) and everything seems to have been automated.Unfortunately, it is no longer a nice breakfast experience.Furthermore, the showers are also cumbersome to be used: with a touch pad in the wall, all settings of the shower must be made.Rather unintuitive and over-engineered.Unfortunately, the air conditioning is also quite loud and bothers at night.As a result, the window has to be opened during warm nights.However, since the hotel is from a main street, this leads too much noise.

Location to the center was easy and easy to reach with the S-Bahn.The entire team was very friendly and always helpful.The breakfast buffet was actually quite good but ... see below;Parking in the garage was easy - but in my opinion overpriced !!

For breakfast: As I said - the buffet is really good in all, but there are a few rooms for improvement.The sausages were almost cold despite the heat plate;The orange juice was a "yellow" drink that actually didn't taste like anything;The grapefruit juice from the bottle was good - but for whatever reason was not refilled even though this should have been noticed when refilling the sparkling wine;I would have liked more fish - salmon and rolling mops are actually a little little for a maritime hotel.

Were there for the second time because the pool is nice.Breakfast was also great and the rooms are very clean.

What was particularly "superior" in our room (except for the bathrobes) did not decide.It was great to have a balcony, but it was in a somewhat run -down state.The coffee machine in the room was great, but either it was due to the lack of instructions or it was broken (we know each other with Nespresso).But have reported this to the reception.It's a shame that the sauna did not (again) work and there were no towels at the bottom of the pool.The information in the room is a bit sparse.

We had booked on Booking.com for Thursday.Wednesday evening before the planned departure on Thursday we had a "broken bar".The emergency service had to come and hit the bathroom window so that we could go into the house.There were enough helpers on Thursday to get everything in order.Since the reservation via Booking.com (including breakfast) could not be canceled, this money was lost.We then booked for Saturday (without breakfast) and received a free breakfast for Sunday when we arrived.Sovereign procedure as I mean.

The bedroom, the bathroom, are very high standing and deserve the biggest praise.

The price applied for breakfast (€ 26) suggested something completely exceptional, but this was not the case.Of course a wide variety of buffet, but without the quality that could be expected at this level, neither for coffee (mediocre), nor for fruit juices (also mediocre), nor for the choice of (low) fruit.

We've stayed here multiple times. Mostly when hotlel rooms in Frankfurt are more expensive. We usually travel by train form this location and the station is just f few minutes away. There are lots of good restaurants close by and the buffet breakfast is excellent.

The TV only had one English station, BBC. There were others on the channel lineup but there was no feed from them.

Die Betten waren nicht bequem, vor allem das Schöafsofa. Das Schöafsofa knarrte wen man sich umdreht ?Die. Einrichtung im Zimmer schon im Jahren gekommen Es war schwer die Eingang von Hotel zum Erreichen wegen die Baustelle.

We have never had such a good breakfast.There was everything you could want for breakfast.The staff was very friendly and helpful.The location near the train station was perfect for us.It was very quiet throughout the hotel.We can highly recommend the hotel.Any time!

There was nothing to complain about for us.

Friendly staff on the front desk, nice sauna, large and clean room.

The food (dinner) and the service in the restaurant were substandard.The breakfast buffet is very extensive, only I do not eat sugar, so there was little choice for me.Even the normal yogurt was full of sugar.

We lived in a suite at the top of the 12 floor, it had a fantastic view!The rooms were well planned and very nice.The breakfast was good with a lot to choose from.Nice with the pool at the hotel, it was so clean and fresh.Nice that the hotel was close to the railway station.

Hotel in the city center close to the station, easy to access and very quiet.Very spacious room with modern bathroom well equipped.There is a very correct restaurant that makes excellent burgers.In addition there is a swimming pool (not very large) but very pleasant.

The staff at the reception

Because of the unusual circumstances, the hotel could only be reached through a path that looked quite cordoned off.There were residents free but quite small.But when we saw buses before the maritime, we just drove in there, which was right.

Large comfortable rooms with a balcony. Handy for the station although car access is a bit awkward because of major roadworks. Very good sound insolation.

Breakfast was a bit crowded but the staff were helpful and the buffet was extensive.

Particularly friendly staff, rooms very large and well equipped, great breakfast in the room service on the room, spacious balcony, parking space in underground car park - all my wishes could be fulfilled, and I would love to come back!
