Agios Achillios

Prespa is a humble destination, no lukewarm, bar, market, etc. It is a place that offers calm and contact with nature.ATTENTION: To reach the islaki Passeraphus 700m - PARKS APPROVED AND Walk the accommodation is old, simple and basic.But if you come to the island you will find that a renovation is not an easy task.The breakfast is very rich and tasty and George who has the space very nice, smiling and eager.It is the only accommodation on the islet and is really a very unique experience.

I think they had to write in the description of the footbridge.It is not a given that we all know about this particularity.One may not be able to walk for some reason, he cannot come to the edge of Greece and find that he cannot reach.The owners' children are young and it makes sense to play and run.However in the evening they were quite quiet and they didn't bother at all.

This is a beautiful building in a very special location. It can only be approached on foot from the mainland via a long floating bridge. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was ok. It is worth visiting the whole island. The loung...

The only restaurant on the island (that we found) said that it closes at 19:00. We managed to make it to 19:30 with a few other guests, but by then it was over. Since it was getting dark, we couldn't do anything else on the island. I've been going to Greece for 25 years, we've been almost everywhere, but I've never experienced anything like this. And the food was crap too. Unfortunately, this is a disadvantage of the island if you want to spend the night there and don't want to go to bed at 8 pm. We bought wine from the restaurant and played memory games on the ground floor of the hotel :-(

The location is magic. It is one of the most genuinely beautiful and interesting locations I have ever stayed in: from the birds (pelicans of course but the nightingales, reed warblers, herons, owls, hoopoe etc.) to the extraordinary frescoes in Agios Achillios and nearby churches and monasteries - it is simply a stunning area. Best of all no mass tourism, just people who really love nature, walking and churches. Our hosts at the hotel were wonderful people, thank you both of you, breakfasts amazing and the boat ride to see nesting pelicans and other birds was a treat. The restaurant opposite does great evening meals, let them know early. An extraordinary island - and place to stay.

Everything was great - and anyway, if it hadn't been I would have mentioned it, and I know our hosts would have helped to put it right.

One of the most special places we have ever been.The island is great and you can walk nicely (it's bigger than you might think).The hotel (actually it is a B&B or Homestay) is really fantastic.Dear people, great room with a view over the lake and delicious breakfast.Opposite is the only restaurant on the island where you can eat.

I always like it if there is a kettle.This was missing (was also in the description, so it was known).We are always awake early and then a cup of coffee on the balcony is tasty.Furthermore everything perfect.

Very cute little hotel where we were welcomed with great kindness by the owners!Ideal location with a surprising and magnificent arrival by the floating bridge that joins the island!You have a small tavern in front of the hotel with very pleasant staff and the dishes served are good!Ice merchant nearby!And finally, the breakfast is exceptional!A big thank-you !

Wonderful, cozy location.Only recommended for nature/hiking lovers.Super nice host.Great and delicious breakfast.The rooms were simple but very clean and even Netflix was available.Absolutely recommended!

No criticism, just to know well: you have to park on the mainland and then walk about 800m on foot over a floating bridge to the hotel.

Very happy with my stay in the hostel, great views, clean and well -groomed space, very kind and helpful staff!The breakfast they serve very tasty and the restaurant that operates next to the hostel is a very beautiful place with delicious food and polite staff!We regret that we didn't arrange to stay another day!

Would have been helpful to know we had to cross a walkway to access the hotel. Bathroom was basic.

The hotel lies on a beautiful island on the Little Prespa Lake and has an outstanding view. All in all, the atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy, even meditative. The owners are very friendly and helpful as well, it was a perfect experience.

Such a lovely guesthouse. We enjoyed much sitting on balkony in the evening and hear the sound of birds. Breakfast was rich and delicious. Owner family was nice.
