"DE BANK" - Hotel Apartments

De Bank is in a great location in Harlingen, you can park your car right in front of the hotel (if you are lucky) and it is beautifully furnished. The apartment was modern, well equipped and rather quiet. We had a good time here and will be coming back, albeit to a different apartment in the same complex (see 'negative').

We were told how and where to retrieve our key cards upon arrival, but they had not been prepared as promised. After a phone call and a short waiting time, someone arrived and handed us the cards so we could enter our 'superior apartment' (Dollar). Apart from the master bedroom, the apartment had two single beds that were just mattresses lying on the floor in a crawlspace up a ladder. This is, of course, not shown on any photo. While the kitchen had plenty of crockery, cutlery etc., there was no pepper, salt, and other things for daily use you usually get in pricier apartments (this is not a big problem, just good to know). The apartment was clean except for a few hairs on the bathroom and kitchen walls, there was also some grease on the shower head.

This is more of a note: our apartment was directly under the roof.A total of approx. 45 steps - sometimes quite steep - certainly typical of the older and narrow houses.Before booking, this would be a worth knowing information for two- and four-legged friends who cannot run so steep and many steps.On one side with handrail, which was really good.We are fit and were able to go well.However, we had to carry our dog down in the upper section.

Great designer location right at the harbor and in the city.There was an input code by email after two attempts we were in there :-).There was my desired and with a separate bedroom, like toilet.The apartment is really well thought out and nicely styled.The large windows with a view of the harbor themselves with the rain.A good bed with a nice bedding.To be recommended.Good restaurants on foot, such as shops from the Hema to the bakery.

Small, understandable shortcoming, it was very icy in the apartment and it took two or three hours until it got warm.

This place turned out to be exactly how I saw it in the photos - comfy, warm, clean, spacious. It’s near the shopping street and not far from grocery shops and, of course, the sea. Also, you can cook almost anything with the provided kitchen facilities (all sorts of pans and pots, a toaster and an egg cooker) and the bath is one love ❤️ two people can easily fit in.

If you’re planning on cooking, make sure you take the cutlery with you and slippers as they are not provided (for the sanitary reasons probably)

What most liked was the big bank!This was an interior that I would choose for myself.We cooked ourselves and really everything was present, from potato peeling to wok, and from beer glass to egg cup!The kitchen, the bed, the bath, couch, the showers, the breakfast table with chairs, the lights ..Everything went!

What was a pity was that there was no air freshener on the toilet, probably not put down because of theft danger (?).

I had seen the pictures on Booking.com and I thought that the place was very nice and romantic. Though when we got in, it was actually better than the pics. We had a "room", so called. Though it was very big, actually and apartment. Everything was super clean and there was a Disney+ account. Huge TV, both in the bedroom and livingroom. The couch was wonderful. Kitchen was fully equipped. Perfect.

The apartments were spacious and stylish, and there was also everything you need in the kitchen.The owners were very friendly and always on the spot when there was a problem.This is how you want a stay.Top.

What did not fit was done within a very short time.So nothing.

The accommodation is ideally located in the center of Harlingen.Shops, gastronomy and supermarkets are within walking distance.The beach and harbor can also be reached on foot in a few minutes.The apartment is completely equipped and leaves little to be desired.

Very new and clean. Nice location and we can park close by. The bed is very comfortable.

The heater is difficult to adjust and it was too cold. We couldn’t cast from our phone to the tv. We asked via message on booking.com, but there was no reply.

Comfortable apartment in a beautiful location in the center of Harlingen

The bank is located in an old bank building and the rooms have the names of foreign currency types.We slept in the "ruble".Currently a rather controversial name …………

It was a beautifully decorated and spacious apartment in a beautiful location.Everything was very well cared for (coffee, tea ... and there was a bag of fresh oliebollen ready) and very clean.

The accommodation is central, calm, with a nice view.

On the upper floor, in the bathroom, there was no toilet, unfortunately.The safe in the bedroom was not anchored.You could carry it away.

Very neat accommodation with clear check-in and check-out instructions.The location is also fine.We stayed with New Year, so there were oliebollen ready for us as a nice surprise.

The central extractor system in the room adjacent to the bedroom makes a lot of noise.Therefore slept poorly

As a large family, we had three apartments.They were spacious and bright. We were welcomed very friendly at the checkin.We immediately felt comfortable.
