Villa Panalai

It was a beautiful resort, with a very beautiful garden.A peacock came every day on our terrace.If you look closely there is all kinds of wildlife, such as butterflies, insects, birds, snails, toads, fish.The breakfast was served at the room twice and it was a buffet during the weekend.The rice porridge is delicious, and also the minced pork with lemon leaves.Dinner in the restaurant was good.There are plates and cutlery in the room for when you have purchased Street Food.Drinking water is generously supplemented every day.It was nice to go in the Plunge Pool.

The mattresses upstairs were thick blankets, and the ground was clearly felt for the children.The air conditioning blows directly on you while you are in bed, that is not pleasant.

Great experience from check-in to check-out. This Small resort has exceptional services. Great design. They really put a thought into every detail. The utilization of the space is very smart. Food was not just delicious but good quality with organic farm-to-table fruits and vegetables. We love the walk through the garden with koi ponds that runs around the place its very unique. All the activities are also free. Above our expectation.

When checking in, the breakfast starts 8:00, which is quite slow.But in reality, the staff are preparing to finish faster than the time.

We were warmly greeted by the manager (only 1 speaks English) with the key and shown to our unit. Breakfast buffet was great, all food good but there were some hiccups in orders and time you wanted to eat but only due to language barrier I'm sure. The grounds are amazing and well kept and love their farm to table concept. The spa on site was great, and many offerings to choose from!

The location is nice and green, and away from major roads, so is peaceful. The bed was very comfortable, and the room a good size. The barbecue area (while not used by us) is a nice addition, as was Netflix being part of the price. The staff were friendly, and the food was great.

The à la carte prices on the food were perhaps a little overpriced, but the food tasted great.

Very good stay, we enjoyed the hotel restaurant and breakfast.Our son loved playing table football and ping pong, he also enjoyed sleeping in his little room on mezzanine (… and access to Netflix and YouTube on TV).In the garden in the evening there was the screening of a film.Charming setting, ponds, vegetation, small bridges ...

The food was very good.Thank you for renting bikes for free.Staff is friendly.Massages are definitely recommended.

The bed of our children was a fairly thin mattress on the floor.This was hard, the solution offered (an extra top layer) was an improvement.Villa Panalai is quite far from the national park.
