Excellent location just across from the railway station. Lovely helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was great and had a good choice of items each day. The bar was also very nice, and not too crowded.

Room 418 was by a very creaky set of stairs so we experienced quite a lot of noise on a couple of nights. It was very hot during our stay so it was disappointing that we couldn’t open the window ourselves. I’m told the coffee was cold and weak. That said, none of these issues was a deal breaker.

The bed was comfortable

When we arrived, the parking lot was full, and the very unkind hotel staff did not know where there was another parking lot or prices.We had to leave the car in the very expensive parking of the station in front, 20 pounds the night.And they didn't even let us lower the suitcases at the door before going to look for parking.They also assigned us a room of the worst.You had to go down a ladder to get, it gave an air well, the window did not open and had no air conditioning

It is opposite the main station and less than 10 minutes walk to the town centre. It was very clean and comfortable, and staff were friendly.

Just small issues in the bathroom. The handbasin tap didn't reach into the basin properly, often resulting in water all over the vanity. The shower is over the bath, which is very high to step over and could be awkward for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. The fan can't be turned off, so is constantly running, which can be irritating.

The room was small but adequate. Had everything in it that you need. We added on the breakfast for £10 each. Absolute bargain. Stayed in many hotels, but the breakfast here was the best we've had. The hotel is opposite the train station. We used the long stay car park at the train station. Would definitely recommend this hotel. It's nice and central.

The room was a little small.

The room was very clean. The quality of the toilet and shower were great. Breakfast was very good and the staff were great.

It was way too hot. There was no air conditioning or opportunity to change the temperature in the room. My window couldn't be opened and any view had been blocked up, so there was virtually no natural daylight in the room.

The beds were confortable and the rooms clean.

The food was not good for the price asked. The weekend evening security was a joke and full of flaws not to mentioned against GDPR laws. In a crowded lobby disclosing my room number and my full name goes against security not even reception did that. I do not recommend for single women to travel.

The hotel is huge, almost an entire block.Old but reformed, it requires climbs and descents of stairs, but the room is reasonable.

First service, upon arrival.Miss couldn't explain to me where the parking lot was, while then her colleague took me there, next door - simple thing to do.As a consequence I was running with the car, in stress.

The room was very nice and the location was excellent. The breakfast was good, and there was a nice selection on offer.

The beds were too soft and unsupportive. The noise from outside was unbearable at times! 4am in the morning, but I suppose this is a Uni town and is well known for parties etc. so not really the fault of the hotel!

Cozy room, very clean and comfortable. Very nice breakfast room with both international and traditional British breakfasts. Very kind and friendly staff. Very quiet hotel with no noise even if it is just in a busy street. It is just in front of the train station.

There is a free wifi, but in our room it didn't work at all.

The spacious kitchen/living room area. We liked the fact we were so close to everything in the city, was nicely decorated with fans provided

The only issue we had was that the apartment was constantly warm so had to have the fan on at all times

The restaurant and bar was very pleasant and we thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks. The atmosphere was great. We will definitely return.

There wasn't any air conditioning which made for an uncomfortable night trying to sleep.

Upon arrive booking.com had not past in our reservation. The lovely hotel was fully booked but the staff went out of their way to find us a room and upgraded us for both nights. Beautiful hotel.Amazing staff in a lovely city.

The facility was excellent beyond our expectations. The location was also very convenient. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Very good value for money. The beds were very comfortable.❤️

Room was on the small side and my side of the bed was against the wall and without any lighting. A bit risky getting out of bed in the middle of the night.

I couldn’t open my bedroom window so used the fan from my wardrobe but it rattled so was very noisy through the night.

Far to hot couldn’t breath in the room was 2 fans on the room and still to warm very difficult to sleep with the heat
