This B & B is centrally located in Windermere so everything is within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay as Evelyn is a friendly host who made us feel very welcome. We stayed in two rooms here one for each night. Both rooms were clean and well presented. The first room at the front has a larger living space with a smaller bathroom whereas the second room at the back has a smaller living space with a larger bathroom. Evelyn looked after the transfer between rooms seamlessly. Car parking at the back was a bonus. Evelyn's breakfast each morning was excellent. Thanks again Evelyn for your hospitality.

Dunvegan is a lovely and cosy guest house. Evelyn is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble. She arranged a little surprise in our room for my husband’s 80th, going out of her way to buy banners, balloons, chocs, wine and cake. Very knowledgeable of the area and lovely breakfast. Close to local transport.

Only negative was that we would have preferred breakfast a little later this would have suited us better as breakfast is served 8.30, that said we would definitely stay again

It was a good English Breakfast. Loved the way the tables were set up with toasters on each table so you were able to toast your bread without waiting in line wasting time. Nice fresh eggs, and a pot of tea or coffee at your table. Very attentive host. The location was excellent just 5 minutes walk to the public transportation, tourist information, good restaurants.

The space in the bathroom. It was manageable. (Importantly it was cleaned everyday.)

Evelyn is a wonderful host.The room was clean and enough, because you are outdoors all day anyway.Breakfast was very tasty and prepared with love.The accommodation is 3 minutes from the "Library" bus stop and a 15 -minute walk from the train station, very quiet.

If you want to go to the lake, you have to run a bit - about 20 minutes - or you take the bus.

The property was ideally situated near the town centre, and it was a good location from which to visit the surrounding places of interest. There were plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from in Windermere. The owner, Evelyn, was lovely, and very helpful.

Our only criticism was the size of the en-suite in our room, which was very bijou, but adequate.

We loved our stay in Windermere. The Dunvegan was extremely clean & comfortable with everything you could need. Breakfast was delicious with extremely good produce. Our host Evelyn was very welcoming & gave us loads of tips on where to visit as well as recommending restaurants & bars. Would highly recommend.

The host is so friendly and warmly!We had a hiking to Scafell Pike in a heavily raining day. The host gave us the path guide and when we came back, she help us to clean and dry our cloth. The room is clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious.

Every thing was fantastic our host was one of the nicest person we have met at a B & B great night's sleep. The B & B is in a great position. Lovely breakfast. Cosy room and very clean.

The location was excellent and easy to park. Elelyn was so kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and would definitely visit again

The guest parking was behind the house which we didn't realise but that wasn't anyones fault

Good location for exploring the lakes. Off-street parking is a real bonus. Evelyn was very accommodating and catered for our breakfast needs very well.

The standard size double bed felt rather narrow, but it was otherwise comfortable enough.

Booked the weekend for my son and daughter in law for a wedding present,they really enjoyed their stay,my daughter in law left her glasses and the lovely owner returned them to us free of charge,what a lovely gesture,very much appreciated

Evelyn is the best host! ?? She’s wonderful and accommodating. Serves great and delicious breakfast. Great location within few minutes to shops, restaurants and tourist spots. We’ll definitely come back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Breakfast was delicious, Evelyn was lovely and my boyfriend and i had a lovely few days. The bedroom was to a high standard and we enjoyed being in such a lovely area. Thank you.

Lovely stay. Very welcoming host who went above and beyond. Room was so cozy I slept like a baby! Breakfast was spot on. No waiting and to top it off great location. Would recommend ?

Evelyn was very welcoming she made our stay relaxing, The room was clean and warm even our doggies enjoyed themselves. Evelyn makes a lovely breakfast to. We would re visit again in the future.

The owner is of a comforting kindness, with little care, full of good advice and full of energy, JSPR can one day returned staying there!

Good breakfast, cosy warm room. Host = a delight with helpful suggestions for trips etc. Super en-suite, blinds are fabulous.

A good breakfast. Perhaps more visible choices eg. Cereal. If you ask there are varieties but some people may not feel they can ask.

The location, near to shops and bus stops

We were in room 4 and found the very steep and narrow stairs to the room very difficult.
