The chapel is pretty much in the perfect location being kind of in the middle of nowhere, with wonderful views of the mountains and the sea, yet surrounded by fabulous beaches (and bunnies galore in the fields and graveyard garden) and with both Pwllheli and Abersoch in very close proximity. The property is really comfortable overall and really feels like you’re in an idyllic haven away from it all. It also had all the mod cons you want in a holiday home, plus that extra quirky twist of it being a chapel. Loved the photo album of its conversion you can tell it’s owners really love it and it’s been a passion project.
Said would be drinks on arrival, there weren’t which is a minor thing, though just don’t say it if it’s not going to happen. Quite a lot of cobwebs and spiders. No blinds or curtains on the windows. The underfloor heating was locked and this meant we couldn’t turn it down, which with a very sunny week turned it into a sauna unless we turned it off at the mains.
