Providing you use public transport, and are prepared to walk for some minutes, it is in a very good location: near the prom, but far enough back to not get the high winds or traffic noise. Also roughly half way between Douglas railway station (for the south) and bus station and Douglas's tram station (for the north). Very good breakfast. Lovely slightly wider than normal and well upholstered single beds. Supply of tea/coffee making material in the room, which was topped up each day.

Our room's shower was difficult to adjust. Specifically, once turned on, it was very hard to turn down the heat (but one could still turn it up).

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with really good dining room service.

I had a single room which was a little cramped. The shower and toilet facilities were also cramped. For the money I paid I thought the room was substandard. I have stayed at much better accommodation in better situations at a less expensive price.

Very good breakfast as much as you want. The room and en suite were in excellent order as were the beds! The condition, quality and cleanliness is a credit to Steve and Maria and to their friendly and efficient staff!! Who were all very helpful and obliging.

Parking facilities! But never more than a two minute walk away!!

We could see the sea from our room. Breakfasts were really good. The Manx breakfast was too big but the small breakfast was enough to keep us going all day. Close to the start of the horse train on Douglas front.

The small size of the shower cubicle made it very difficult to turn around..

Steve and Maria were very welcoming and helpful with tips on where to go for meals and beer! The staff were very attentive and helpful despite language barrier. Not everyone understands a Brummie accent. Breakfast and service was excellent.

Lovely and clean. Friendly hosts who were always happy to help. Rooms serviced every day. An extra night was not a problem when our ferry home was cancelled.

Possibly a little more choice of breakfast items could be available (but what was on offer was still very good).

Room clean and comfortable. Tasty well cooked breakfast. A good 10 -15 minutes walk from ferry terminal but bus stops 2 minutes walk from property. .

Not a dislike but be aware rooms are on 4 floors and no lift. I was on top floor and it's quite a climb!

fantastic hotel, excellent value for money, nice room, very comfy bed, nice shower, little view of the sea which was nice, fairly quiet street, handy location for town centre and the breakfast was really nice. very friendly staff too.

The location is fabulous about 300 yards from centre of horseshoe beach prom and same from both bustops. £5 taxi ride from ferryport if u come on late, Excellent friendly hosts. great breakfast

Room is fairly small and Tv hard to see if sitting on bed.

Spotlessly clean, room well maintained cotton sheets. Filling well cooked breakfast with excellent ingredients. Apple orange juice, tea, coffee, toast. Location just off prom by bus stops excellent. Hosts friendly and informative.

Maria/Steve where fantastic hosts. Breakfast was great, room spotless, very helpful with buses, thing's to do I would highly recommend, location just off the promenade, couldn't find one fault. Thank you Michael ireland ?? ?

Breakfast was amazing. Location great.Very clean. Nice staff. Only problem I was very cold .Coming from a hot climate. 14c at night was freezing. But the heaters don't go on till later. I did get an extra blanket.

Nice, clean B&B with everything you need for a nice stay.The location in the side street was very quiet.In two minutes you will be on the promenade.The bus stop is also around the corner.Very friendly communication.

Mattress was a little uncomfortable, maybe a mattress topper would sort this.

Rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable. Could not fault them at all . Owners where friendly and couldn't do enough for you , great place to stop near the promenade.

Good breakfast - set us up for the day. Staff friendly and helpful. Really good location. Suited us perfectly for our short break.
