Mawgan Pads Mawgan Porth

Lovely location, easy to get to Padstow, Newquay not far away. About 10 min walk to Mawgan Porth Beach, or it takes a couple minutes in the car. So quiet and peaceful very relaxing stay and lovely lodge would recommend.

The only thing I would say, it was clean but felt it could of been cleaner. Dusty skirting boards, especially in the en-suite, and tops of the bins was dusty and sticky in the bathrooms and kitchen. The one in the bedroom by the dressing area was thick with dust..none of them looked as though hadn’t been cleaned for while. The lamp shelf was thick with dust, definitely hadn’t been cleaned at all. I appreciate the cleaners only do a certain of amount due to the change over, but sometimes it’s about the attention to detail. May not bother some people but just felt things were missed.

The lodge was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Home from home! We couldn’t believe how spacious it was and the kids loved the bunk beds. It had amazing views and was central for Newquay and Padstow. You can even catch the evening sunset from the decking. The local village of Mawgan Porth has a nice feel too. The fishing lake on site allowed us to catch some fish!

The peace and quiet. Having been there during December, it was a nice break away. Not many tourists just locals. Comfy bed. Lovely touches in lodge from milk, orange juice and biscuits. Very clean and homely.

We were there in December. It is cold. Most days, frosty. Lodge was the highest on top of a hill. Road up and down can be treacherous.

The lodge was well appointed with comfortable sofas and beds. It was well designed and spacious. Everything needed was provided. There was a wonderful view, probably the best on the site. It was quiet and peaceful and the site was well maintained. Very helpful staff in reception/shop.

It would have been useful to have a bin for recycling.

Location, holiday home was spacious and clean and promised to get a much loved Teddy accidentally left behind back home

Bathroom plug was broken but through no fault of anyone's It couldn't it have been known until we tried to use it. Friendly and answers all queries quickly

Excellent accommodation, beautifully presented and gorgeous location, peaceful and 10-15 min walk to the beach. The lodge was perfect for our needs. There’s a small onsite shop but worth getting your shopping in if you’re staying for a few nights to self cater.

Fantastic location. The lodge has everything you need for a prefect stay. Its in a quiet area of the park, with stunning views. 15-20 minute walk to the beach.

The lodge hadn't been cleaned properly. We had dirty cutlery, dusty surfaces and dirty/stained bedding.

Small leak in. The kitchen area not sure where from but floor area by sink keeps getting wet .

Great location, big grassy area to the side. Very clean and comfortable.

No hand soap in the bathroom. Ran in from a long drive to use the loo and nothing to wash my hands with. That's my only complaint. Everything else was great.

Location, cleanliness make you feel at home

Some of the glasses are chipped, I actually cut myself. And I booked for 6 people and there’s only 4 towels and 4 dining chairs. But the rest are amazing, definitely will come back!

only fault was that there wasn’t a plug in the kitchen sink but the owner said there had been one there previously and wasn’t aware it was missing and would replace it

Absolutely fantastic short stay in this superb holiday home. Very spacious, clean and very modern. Nice welcome pack and everything you need for a perfect stay. This is definitely on our visit again list.

Fantastic new interiors, lovely modern, clean design, great TV and the floor plan well considered with excellent private bathrooms (en-suite) and dressing areas.
