Rooms At Martha Jones

The amenities in the room were exceptional. The room was fitted and decorated to a very high standard. The hosts were very thoughtful in providing tea, coffee (good coffee!), and a lovely breakfast basket. The property does overlook a road. However I found the road very quiet during the night and slept perfectly (I'm a light sleeper). The location was also brilliant, with the White Hall restaurant just down the road, and the railway station only around the corner. I'd love to come back.

I wasn't able to connect to the property's WiFi, so that's something for the hosts to look into. Fortunately Pwllheli has public WiFi and I could connect from within the room.

Spotless, modern, well finished accommodation. Meeting and greeting nice and relaxed. You get a set of keys for your room as well as the main entrance to the building. I actually found the experience quite a bit like staying in a good quality boutique hotel. The accommodation is right on the high street so it's close to restaurants and pubs . I can't praise this enough. Definitely a value for money.

We had no clear access to the heating switch on off - we got a bit soaked during our walk and couldn't dry the clothes off after all. My pillow was very stiff - but it might be just me and the way how I like softer more squeashy pillows.

This a DIY bnb, with breakfast basket provided (good selection of items). Nicely presented inside, with comfortable bed, attention to detail (eg small library of books) and lovely bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Centrally located, it’s right on the high street above a shop.

Car parking at the time I arrived (weekend evening) was a challenge. Also, there are pubs nearby, so late on there was some street noise (people not vehicles). Access to the property is via a backyard which would benefit from some TLC.

Location was fine, breakfast was a cold tray in your room the day before so nothing fancy but OK. Room and bathroom where a resonable size and very clean but the bath towels could do with being larger. Put off by ear plugs but it appears that was a left over from a noisy take away opposite that no longer exists so no problem for us ( Out of Season)

as we were out of season this is not a realist review of normal peak season times which could differ ?

The room has everything you need for a stay. Easy to find, access etc. Clean and well thought through. Facilities as described. Clear and helpful messages from owners

It was a bit noisy with people coming out of pubs etc because it's on the high street-but it's also convenient because of this location. There is double glazing and earplugs are available.

There was a great selection of items for breakfast. The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom very spacious. It was easy to pick up keys for the room from the shop downstairs.

The bed was a little uncomfy for my liking, but could be fine for someone else, it's just personal preference. There was road noise during the night but we were pre-warned.

Attention to detail, the rooms were stunning little touches everywhere .cleanliness .location. And a great recommendation for the Whitehall gastropub which served a tasty meal We were a group of six and all felt the same feeling about this lovely place

Convenient and central

Basket of breakfast items weren't of any interest to us. Took some things home for grandkids. Would have liked choice to choose this type of breakfast or not. Everything else was perfect. Clean rooms and very central.

Comfortable smartly decorated room in a central location with generous tea and coffee supplies and a very nice bathroom.

Car parking a little hit and miss and on the high street so potential for some noise, though non when we stayed.

This was out 5th stay at least. Very central location. Sad reason for this visit. Late check out to allow to dress for a funeral granted instantly. Best accommodation by far in Pwllheli.

Lovely room and bathroom. Great to have facilities to make hot drinks. Slight glitch with communication meant we could not sort heating out -but not major issue. Great restaurant and pub down the street. Perfect for WCP.

Stayed before so came back. Lovely thoughtful accommodation. Lots of attention to detail. Appreciated the breakfast basket, little pack with mail file, ear buds etc, spacious modern bathroom and flexible access.

Breakfast in room poor. Cereals out of date, poor quality yogurt and pain au chocolate. Difficulty using coffee machine, no instant available.

I think the breakfast basket needs to be more substantial and clearly stated on booking.com info but otherwise couldn’t fault the rooms or host.

The host was remote but very communicative. Room small but well appointed and stocked. Beautiful bathroom. Good value.

Our stay was very nice and Julie and Steven our hosts were fantastic. The room was very clean and the bathroom was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was far too much perfumed.Managed to find the perfume sources o eliminate them while we were there.

5 star hotel feel without the price tag. Clean, beautifully furnished and perfect for a solo travellers or a couple.

I go the keys at 1pm whereas the check-in is at 2:30pm. Message to property if you have any special needs. They are really helpful.
