The H Boutique Hotel

Lovely welcome. The room was very comfortable. Staff in the main hotel were excellent. Good location in the centre of Bakewell. Parking was straightforward if you keep to the instructions. A lovely evening meal on our second night, although we were the only diners!

The hotel and restaurant are two separate entities. We were told on arrival that we didn't need to book breakfast. When we went down the first morning, we were nearly turned away! Breakfast had been advertised on booking.com as extra for £14. We had to pay per item which was slightly more expensive! The second morning, we had the same problem, decided to just have cereal and toast. She tried to charge £14 each! Not happening! We reported the breakfast issues to reception on leaving. She was very apologetic. Hopefully, these miscommunications between the two companies are now sorted.

Staff, from walking through the door to leaving were 100% attentive, friendly and helpful at all times. The room was clean, warm, welcoming and comfortable. Location was excellent, bang in the centre of Bakewell. We had an evening meal, which was exceptional and eat breakfast both mornings, which was to an excellent standard. Parking, even though nothing to do with the hotel, was communicated to us prior to arrival, paid in advance and was a doddle. We would like to mention Sarah at the front desk, who was brilliant from the minute we arrived, as was all staff we encountered. Will definitely recommend this to others as a must stay value for money hotel in an ideal location. Well done Hotel Boutique.

The location was perfect, breakfast was good and reasonable (although not included in price) The Haddon room was very well equipped and comfortable. The staff were very obliging at all times and happy to share information about the area.

if i had to be critical i had hard poached eggs 1 day :) but that was all. Car Parking is off site but is only across the road from the Hotel. Fortunately we read other reviews about the car parking so we already had the app to park and pay by phone and took the advice to get a permit for 3 days for £15 which saved us a lot of hassle and money parking elsewhere.

Everything was a wonderful cozy experience. The rooms were nice sized, clean, and well appointed, the beds comfortable, bathrooms high end. The staff was helpful and kind. Location was fantastic, right near everything.

Breakfast wasn't the best-- there was only one woman on staff and she was running ragged, the poor thing. Nothing terrible, but not on the same level as the rest of our stay. Only other gripe was that the wifi didn't work in our particular room-- worked in other rooms and downstairs just fine.

Comfy bed (huge) in a well decorated room, with all you'd expect.

The restaurant menu was mostly pizza and burgers, and I'm not 6 years old! The cleaners were having a good chat outside our bedroom door, and then vacuuming the corridors at 9.00am, on the 1 day that we were trying to have a lazy morning. Jacuzzi bath was amazing, but showering with a handheld nozzle was disappointing, and messy. Some shower screens and wall mountings would have been good.

The staff were amazing and helpful. The hotel and rooms were stunning and clean. The location was outstanding. I would stay there again and again.

Unfortunately, breakfast took a little longer to cook as there was only one chef. However, the staff said this was unusual circumstances. I also would like breakfast to be included as we paid £250 per night with no breakfast included.

Lovely hotel right in the middle of Bakewell. That don't do a bed and breakfast rate but there is a restaurant on site that is open from 8 for breakfast. We ate there twice and really enjoyed it. They also do lunch and dinner. The room was spacious and clean and nice and quiet. Will definitely go back and can highly recommend staying here as a couple.

arrived back at the hotel at 9.4opm after a meal out and would have welcomed a nightcap in the bar but unfortunately the bar closed at 9.30pm appreciate the hotel does not wish to operate a late bar but it would have been good to have had the bar facilities available until 10pm

An exceptional hotel. The staff were lovely, the location perfect and the room spotless. We enjoyed this so much that we immediately booked another stay. A massive thank you to all the staff and the owner, who went out of his way to make us welcome. We also dined in the H bar and restaurant which was similarly excellent

The location was perfect. Staff very obliging & helpful. Very clean. Nice big room, fabulous bathroom. Comfortable beds.

Quite expensive & for the price I felt breakfast should be included in the price. Not a very nice view from room. Having to pay additional cost for parking.

Receptionist was welcoming, friendly at all times and very helpful. We decided to have breakfast after check-out so cannot comment. The location was perfect, with parking just across the road. Instructions provided by the hotel were very helpful and accurate.

The staff at the hotel were totally amazing and went above and beyond as our daughter was getting married in Bakewell, we loved the rooms, very clean very spacious, we would definitely stay there again.

Really good sized room, clean and well kept, bathroom had bath and large shower. Great location centrally in Bakewell.

Tea station didn't get refilled but we called reception and they brought some straight up.

Beautiful modern hotel. Spotless and comfy would highly recommend

No car park at the hotel so receptionist recommend that we park across the road behind the stone wall. Cost was £6 until the next morning.

We had to ask for a walk in shower but we were moved quickly to a suitable room. The location is fantastic and the rooms comfortable.

All was fab. Comfortable, lovely, warm and welcoming. The young lady working on the reception gave excellent customer service, very helpful & friendly.

We very much liked our room and the Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

There's nothing we didn't like and we will look forward to returning.
