The pool area, views and room were all very beautiful.

We were on honeymoon and upon arrival were informed that a table had been booked for us that evening at the hotel restaurant, we were not given a menu to peruse and told we could cancel if it didn’t suit. We went along so as not to be rude. The bill came to four times that of the next most expensive meal we had on our entire trip in SA. Additionally, there were not enough beds at the pool and towels were not replaced as needed. I had also requested hard pillows in advance of our stay which was not accommodated.

Unfortunately, the restaurant couldn't accommodate our party of 12 at one table for a special 70 th birthday celebration. Having booked one-third of the hotel, I expected a little bit more attention for this special event. Alls well that ends well, since I secured a spectacular venue to accommodate our request including the entertainment.

Exceptionally good hotel in beautiful surroundings. Could not have been happier of our choice of hotel in Franschhoek. True five star experience with attentive staff, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Loved the beautiful bathtub. Pool was clean and whole pool area and gardens really well kept and beautiful. Great location in the middle of Franschhoek.

Almost everything was fine.Restaurant Epic was super.However, one should not deliver a dish with a large bread bowl midway.

Breakfast wasn't good.There were really no options if you did not want them on the menu.If you wanted more than a cup of coffee you had to wait too long.

A beautiful, tranquil luxury hotel, right in the centre of Franschhoek. Breakfast outside on the terrace was delicious and we could not have felt more welcomed by the friendly staff. Our room was large and spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped.

"European" price somewhat excessive compared to South Africa.Staff almost too "running".

The property is very tastefully decorated, the rooms are spacious and it is located in town but very quiet and peaceful inside. The staff are also very friendly. The restaurants on site are also very convenient.
