Host allowed us to check in earlier to drop off our cases and continue with the day. When we checked out as well host allowed us to leave our bags. Megan was super helpful when we needed extra heat in lounge came to drop off a heater overall hosts were excellent and for this reason I will return. The location was fantastic a few minutes walk to everything! Food, trams even some of wine farms. We did three legs in the trip and overall this was the best place we stayed at in warmth of the people, lovely accommodation and easy access to everything

Nothing from accommodation perspective the taxi strike just put a damper on some of traveling but we worked around this

Stunning 2 bedroom apartment at the quiet end of Franschhoek’s main road. Beautifully furnished and equipped. Very nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Great attention to details especially with the electrical load shedding back ups! (Torches & gas stoves) Megan who met us was lovely and provided us with a quick tour and fresh bottle of water on arrival. I would 1000% recommend Maison Des Huguenots to anyone looking at a stay in the SA wine lands.

A serious nit pick here and for no fault of the owners but after the power drops due to the areas load shedding the alarm panel beeps every 5 seconds till a button was pressed! 2-4am at one point!

The accommodation was great.We were mainly in Franschhoek because of the Wine Tram, so it was a short stay.The keys were brought to us personally.On departure, we just had to throw them into a key box, which made everything very uncomplicated.The accommodation was clean and nothing was missing, there was even a dishwasher.We could have breakfast outside in the morning.In between, the host also asked via WhatsApp whether everything is okay.Restaurants and a supermarket could be reached on foot.

Location was incredible. We walked everywhere. The unit came with so many amenities, from board games to a proper sized hairdryer. The kitchen was well stocked. Enjoyed the heated towel rail for the cold mornings. Megan was always checking up on us to make sure everything was fine.

This is just a suggestion to add some rugs into the bedrooms for some warmth as the tiles are really cold during winter months.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to use the shower as the drain must have been blocked. Our son half- flooded the bedroom when he showered first. I also feel - in this country, at this time - that any establishment offering rentals should invest in inverters or solar power. More and more people will look for this when booking.

Was very comfortable and nicely furnished. Was in a great location.

We could not find portable lighting during loadshedding. We wanted to watch a movie in the evening and there were no instructions for TV which seemed to be set up in another language - remotes were confusing. There was no user guide giving info on the property or area which we normally find in this kind of accommodation.

Perfect!Spacious!Cosy!Two large bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms: one with a shower, the second with a bathroom.The owners took care of the comfort of the guests well, there is absolutely everything in the house: from the little things (candles, sugar, salt, butter, ketchup, napkins ...) to the toaster, washing and dishwasher.Thanks for the rest!

The location was excellent and within walking distance of some of the galleries, restaurants and tourist attractions.

There was some noise especially in late afternoons because of the intersection close by. We thought the pool was available to all units not only the three-bedroom units.

A kind of nice accommodation that suited us more than well for an overnight stay.Easy to get in touch o get into the accommodation, quick answers to questions.

Had there been a pool on the back, it would have ticked all the amenities (43 degrees just this day)

The location was fine.You could immediately walk through the street on foot.Apartment was spacious.You travel with a small everything was present from high chair to bed to spoons.

The apartment was cold because of the load shedding.

Alarm system with your own life, no backup battery at Loadshedding for the alarm system.As a result, restart with beep signal at night.

The location was great, close to the shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The parking was convenient and safe.
