Trail's End

Amazing location for family adventure and relaxation, the food is excellent, as are the staff. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Elgin offers so much in terms of cycling, running, hiking and adventure - as well as incredible food and wine - only a stone's throw from Cape Town.

The room was a little bit stuffy, but that was only due to the intense heat wave during our stay

Great spot if you’re into mountain biking and outdoor activities! The hotel is simple but clean and good value for money. Staff is super friendly and accommodating.

The restaurant side could be improved but this isn’t a wine farm where you come to eat epic meals. On the bright side, you have lots of great options a short drive away!

For a mountain bike enthusiast, this is really the hotel to be.Nice tracks like the hotel.Everything is in the sign of sports and especially cycling.Friendly staff.Owners who have a chat.And give tips from trails that you can do.You can rent mountain bikes from them.

Booked them for our honeymoon. They were exceptional. Felt welcomed. View is beautiful and Nature is our thing. Felt relaxed and food was devine. Wouldn't mind to book there again for any other occasion or regularly. Thank you once again for excellent service !

I'm uncertain as to the misunderstaning as to the room been cleaned over the 3 nights.

Breakfast was adequate for a quick start to the day. Relaxing atmosphere.

Aircon in room was not working. It was quite hot at night and I slept on top of the duvet.

Staff were extremely by accommodating. Could rest well for unexplained reasons.

The app to register for the hiking permits was long and tedious.

The location is amazing for MTB and trail running. Great place for active family or wanting to get some training done in new locations.
